Plugins are the very basic reason we love to make our site in WordPress. There are lots of plugins available with the different features and functionality in the official WordPress directory. You can add any of the features in just seconds with the help of Plugins and in case if you do not get the right features you need for your site then you can make your own plugin with your solution.
Create a WordPress plugin within just simple steps:
1) Access your site
The first thing you need to do is access your site using FTP or C Panel using the FTP program or C panel with your choice.
2) Move to the Plugin Folder
When you accessed your site, you’ll need to move to the plugin folder. It must be located in wp-content/plugins.
3) Create a new folder for your plugin
Now you have to create a new folder within the plugins folder for making your plugin. Make sure that the plugin name is unique and in lower case with a dash such as my-first-plugin or your own choice.
4) Create a new file for your plugin
Now you have to create the main PHP file into your plugin folder. Create a new file with the same name as your folder such as my-first-plugin.php. After you are done it just go to file and do some changes.
5) Setup the plugin’s information
Finally, you have to set up your plugin information into your main file just copy and paste this code for your plugin but make sure when you edit the details of your plugin.
